We live in Mae Jo located just outside of the city Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. Chiang Mai is about a 10 hour bus ride from Thailand's capital, Bangkok.
Fact's about the country:
Thailand has about 1.2% Christian, although Chiang Mai has about 4%.
Thailand is located in South West Asia. Touching Thailand's borders are the following countries: Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos, and Malaysia.
Thailand is a kingdom, we are ruled by a king.
Thailand has two seasons, Rainy and dry. During our coldest months: -December and January- it can get down to the upper 50s over night. During the hottest months - March and April- it can get up to 120. (All references to temperatures is in Fahrenheit.)
Northern Thailand is very tropical with mountains and rainforest. Southern Thailand has more desert life.
There main religion is Buddhism.
