FAQs

WHAT DOES A NORMAL DAY LOOK LIKE FOR YOU?
The answer to that is very difficult. We do not have "normal" days. Our plan's are always changing. We're lucky if we have a 24 hour notice for something.
But we do have some "normal" activities. We teach, -either morning or evening.- We have language study three day's a week. -In the morning- We have church every Sunday -morning- and Wednesday. -evening- Sunday evening's is game night. We go out to a village on Thursday and come back Friday. -Not every week- We work at the coffee shop different days. We live, we eat, we sleep.
Life is always changing for us. Normal is the abnormal.

CAN YOU DO STUFF WHEN YOU ARE STILL IN SCHOOL?
You can tell from the first question that we have no problem filling our time. Filling the time is not a problem, having enough time is a problem. There is so much work to be done, so many opportunities, we don't have a problem filling time. Our problem is knowing what to fill our time with.

WHAT DO YOU MISS THE MOST IN AMERICA?
People. Being able to see family, being able to easily talk to people.

WHAT WAS THE HARDEST THING ABOUT MOVING TO THAILAND?
Language and culture shock. Over there you can't just walk up to someone and talk to them; you have to learn the language. They talk about different things, they have customs and traditions we didn't know about. We had to learn to adjust.

WHAT IS THE MAIN RELIGION?
Buddhism the prominent religion. You can learn more about it in the page "Where are we?"

WHY DO YOU LOVE IT SO MUCH?
We are in God's will. We are fulfilled. We feel like we're living in a modern day Acts. God has taught us so much, and is still teaching us. Being in God's will just gives you joy; If you know that this is where God want's you, you will be joyful.
